Meet Gem! As her senior human has passed away, this sweet girl is in need of a second forever home.

Gemmie is a stunning black beauty who is 7 years old. She has a gentle heart and an adventurous spirit. Gem is a very intelligent girl who loves being the centre of attention. She being pet, snuggling with her human and exploring her environment — especially when it comes to finding the best seat in the house.

If you are looking for a companion to sit and watch TV with you, she will do just that. She loves watching the television when it's on. Her playful side comes out when you dangle a feather toy or shine a laser beam across the floor — she'll chase it with enthusiasm! She loves when people come visit and will coax them into giving her pets for their whole visit.

Gem gets along with other cats and is currently living happily with a dog. She is comfortable with small children as well, although she would prefer to interact and cuddle with the dog.
