Dottie

Meet Dottie! This sweet girl is currently living in a hospice care home with her beloved senior human, but as her human is now nearing the end of her life, Dottie is in need of a second forever home.

Dottie is a 10-year-old girl who has been with her human since she was two years-old. She loves nothing more than spending her days curling up with her human for a snuggle. When she isn’t snuggling, Dottie is happy, independent gal who loves to pounce on her toy mice and feather wands.

Before she moved into hospice care with her human, Dottie was an indoor/outdoor cat. While she liked her time outdoors, primarily in the summer, she has adapted very well to indoor life in the care home.

Location: Comox, Vancouver Island, British Columbia
Availability: End of February, March

Dottie loves routine and would be best suited in a quieter home with safe outdoor access. She is okay with older, cat-savvy kids, but has not lived with another cat or dog. She’d ideally like a home with an outdoor area where she can safely explore. The family would like her human to be able to keep her until her last day, which is expected to be the end of February or early March.
