Meet Pepper! As her senior human is moving into long-term care, she is in need of a home before May 1st.

Pepper is a sweet, 12-year-old three-legged gal who lost her front left leg after being hit by a car. When her previous family was unable to cover the cost of her amputation after the accident, her senior human rescued her and helped nurse Pepper back to health. She is now thriving.

Four years later, Pepper can be shy around new people. Once she warms up, Pepper will come to greet her humans at the door with her raspy meow. If she’s not in her safe space behind the couch, you can find her hopping up onto armchairs by the window to bask in the sunlight or snuggle in for an afternoon nap. She even gets the zoomies from time to time!

Location: North Vancouver, BC
Availability: Immediately

Pepper’s ideal home is with someone who is home often, cat-savvy, and willing to let her set the pace with affection. She would do best in an indoor-only environment without kids or other pets.
