Leo and Sadie

When a senior suddenly passed away, he left behind his two best friends, Leo and Sadie. His son knew how much they meant to his dad, so he was determined to find them a loving home. That’s when he decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

He began working with our volunteer, Jenna, to find a second forever home for the duo in Simcoe, Ontario. Their sweet faces and fluffy tails were irresistible to our community and applications began to roll in. After interviewing many applicants one stood out.

Laure and her husband, Brian, were looking for a bonded pair of cats to add to their family. They had made the decision to adopt through MGC and to provide a loving home for two of our adoptables. They patiently waited for the right pair to come along, and had even applied for others, but when they saw Leo and Sadie, their hearts melted.

After being interviewed by the humans son, everyone knew Leo and Sadie were meant to be with Laure and Brian. They went for a meet and greet which was intended to be an hour. Four hours later, everyone was even more certain that it was meant to be. Leo and Sadie moved in with Laure and Brian the same day.
