When his human decided to move into a senior’s retirement community, handsome Milo Jr was in need of a new home. That’s when she decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat to help.

She began working with our volunteer Julie, to find Milo Jr his second forever home in Gimli, Manitoba. After interviewing many applicants, Milo Jr’s human picked Don, Val and their daughter Brittany as his second forever home, knowing he would get much love and affection with three people in his home.

“I got an email about Milo Junior a day or two after we lost our almost 21-year-old cat, Fluffy,” says Brittany, “and seeing he was only 20 minutes away was a real sign.”

Now, one year later, they are celebrating Milo' Junior’s gotcha day.

“We still keep in touch with his human and I email her updates. You’ve touched so many lives with just Junior’s adoption. You really don’t understand the wonderful impact you’ve had in all our lives.”
