a message from our founder

Welcome to the holiday edition of My Grandfather’s Tales!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your kindness and generosity on GivingTuesday. Your support helped us raised more than double our goal and we are so appreciative.

Thank you for your dedication to helping our small charity make a big impact in the lives of seniors, terminally ill people and their beloved pets.

Happy Holidays!

our recent tales

Beanie’s Story

When Beanie’s senior human moved into a retirement home, this sweet gal was in need of a second forever home. Her human’s granddaughter, Rachel, took her in without a second thought as a temporary solution and contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

Piper’s Story

When a senior lady was moving into a retirement home, her beloved cat, Piper, was in need of a home. That’s when her daughter and son contacted My Grandfather’s Cat and found her a very special second forever home.

Tinker’s Story

When her beloved senior human passed away, beautiful Tinker was in need of a second forever home. Her granddaughter simply couldn’t put her grandmother’s best friend in a shelter, so she contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

150

In November, we celebrated completing our 150th adoption. We are so grateful for the kind families who chose to adopt through us. Thank you for opening your hearts and homes to our adoptables.
