When her senior human was placed in a care home, his best friend Ally was in need of a second forever home. That’s when his daughter contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Jordan, to find Ally a second forever home in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ally was an indoor-outdoor cat who loved to play in the backyard, so it was important to her human that her second forever home included a yard.

They began interviewing applicants, but it was important to Ally’s human’s daughter that they wait for the right family. After a little time, they received an application from Esther, who was the perfect fit for Ally and was able to provide her with a second forever home where she is loved and can thrive.
