When his senior human needed to move into a retirement home, her beloved cat, Earl Grey, was in need of a second forever home near Lindsay, Ontario.

She had adopted him from a horse farm as a kitten and they were the very best of friends, so it was important to her that he went to a loving home. That’s when her daughter decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Kate, to interview families who applied, and decided that he belonged with Athena in Pickering, Ontario.

“About a month ago I found my new best friend. He has completely changed my world and I’m so happy we took the jump. When I saw Earl I knew he had to come home with us.”
