mimi

When a senior suddenly passed away, her daughter adopted her beloved cat, Mimi. After a few months, she realized Mimi wasn’t adapting to her new life in a house with dogs, and she needed a quiet home like the one she was accustomed to. That’s when she decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Kinsey, to help her find a second forever home for Mimi in Hudson, Quebec. As this was our first adoption in Quebec, our community worked hard to share the post and get the word out. After a couple weeks, she decided that Michael was a fit to give Mimi a second forever home.

“She is getting very affectionate. She started stealing my chair so I have to pick her up and put her on my lap. Thank you for your wonderful work.”
