When his senior human chose medical assistance in dying, her beloved cat Bubaloo was in need of a home. She had adopted him from a shelter two years prior, and he provided her with joy, love and companionship when she needed it the most and in return, she wanted to find him the perfect home.

Her daughter contacted My Grandfather’s Cat and she began working with our volunteer, Vivian, to find Bubaloo a second forever home in Thessalon, Ontario.

Vivian worked with the family to interview each applicant, but when the daughter interview Srilata, she knew she was a perfect person for Bubaloo. The next week, Bubaloo made the trip to his second forever home in Toronto.
