When his human passed away suddenly, her dear friend, Emilie, quickly took Bert into her home. She soon realized that Bert didn’t get along with her cats. That’s when she made the difficult decision to find Bert a second forever home and contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Katie, to find a family to love Bert. After interviewing many families, she chose Karly and Alec to be Bert’s second forever family.
