jewel
Jewel was rescued by her human from the freeway with her kittens while pregnant with another litter when she was around one year old. A little over 15 years later, her human moved into a retirement home so she was in need of a second forever home. That’s when her humans daughter contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.
She began working with our volunteer, Chelsea, to find Jewel a second forever home in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Although she is 16 years old now, Jewel is still full of energy. She loves to play and go outside on adventures, so she needed a human who was able to keep up with her.
After interviewing the applicants, they chose Brenda to give Jewel the second forever home she deserves. Brenda plans to give her all the love and attention she needs, just as her previous humans did.
“Jewel is a sweetheart and was obviously very loved. I’m happy to have her.”
