Lizzy

When her senior human was diagnosed with Alzheimers and was unable to care for her, Lizzy was in need of a second forever home. That’s when his family contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Melanie, to find Lizzy a second forever home in Edmonton, Alberta. Meanwhile a long-time supporter of MGC, Lynette, saw Lizzy’s post and instantly fell in love.

After interviewing Lynette, Melanie and Lizzy’s family knew she was a perfect person to give Lizzy her second forever home.

Lizzy moved in and quickly adjusted to her new home. She is slowly learning to love her brother, Siggy, while finding every opportunity to snuggle with Lynette. She likes to spend her days laying on the bed while her new human works at the desk and talks to her every time she stands up.
