Keta

When her beloved 95-year-old human passed away, sweet Keta was in need of a second forever home. She moved in with her husbands daughter and son-in-law, but they spent a lot of time travelling and couldn’t give Keta the constant attention she was accustomed to. That’s when they decided to find her a home she’d thrive in and contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Jasmine, to find Keta a second forever home in Burlington, Ontario. After interviewing a few applicants, the family chose Terry, who is retired and loves to spend time at home — a perfect fit for Keta.

When the family called Terry to let her know they chose her to adopt Keta, it just happened to be Terry’s birthday. It was the best birthday surprise she could have asked for. Keta moved to Sudbury, Ontario, with Terry and has slowly been settling in, enjoyed all the love and attention.
