When she was diagnosed with COPD, Louise was forced to give up her companions, Sebastian and Winnie. The pair were bonded, and without a family member to take them in Toronto, she was lost with what to do. That’s when her neighbour, Lauren, saw My Grandfather’s Cat on TikTok.

After Lauren provided her MGC’s contact information, she reached out and began working with our volunteer Katie to find a second forever home. Once MGC was featured on BlogTO, the applications began to come in. Louise worked closely with Katie to vet the families and found the perfect home for Sebastian and Winnie.
