spooky
When her senior humans moved into a retirement home in Burlington, Ontario, this Spooky was in need of a second forever home. Her human’s daughter was at a loss on what to do, that’s when she contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.
She began working with a volunteer to write Spooky’s profile and send it out to our community. The same day she was posted, we began to relieve applications. After talking to the families that applied, the daughter chose Jaclyn to be Spooky’s second forever family. She instantly settled in and is thriving in her new home.
“She has settled right in and is snuggling in bed with me. She has explored every nook and cranny of my apartment, comes when called, loves affection and purrs loudly.”
This adoption is particularly special to us, as it was completed by our new volunteer, Elizabeth. She is the daughter of our founding grandfather, who inspired My Grandfather’s Cat. She is now giving her time to the organization and helping to provide comfort and compassion to families in need.
