Tigger

When Tigger’s senior owner realized that in the very near future she would no longer be able to care for him, she made the heartbreaking yet responsible decision to contact My Grandfather's Cat to help find a second forever home in Toronto, Ontario.

She started working with volunteer, Melanie, and as soon as Tigger was posted to MGC’s website, an application came in. It was a young couple who felt an immediate connection to this sweet boy as he looked so similar to their cat, Dex. Within a week, the couple had picked up Tigger and he was in his second forever home.

After a four-week integration process, Tigger had acclimatized to his sister, Dex. Now he spends his days snuggling on the couch with his sister, looking out the window to the backyard, and getting attention from his parents with his surprisingly dainty meow.

“Dex and Tigger look so much alike that we sometimes mistake them for each other. Tigger is so happy and positive, he’s been a great addition to our home.”
