When her beloved owner passed away, sweet Victoria was in need of a second forever home. That’s when her owner’s daughter contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Jenna, to find a home for Victoria in Welland, Ontario. Her fluffy face was irresistible, because as soon as her profile was posted applications began to pour in. Within the first few days, we received more than 30 applications.

Victoria’s humans daughter and Jenna decided to interview one applicant at a time in order the applications were received until they found the best fit for Victoria. It only took a couple of applications until they spoke to Marie and knew she was the one.

Marie picked up Victoria and she settled in quickly. The two are now the very best of friends and loving their new life together.
