Ben and Marti

Ben and Marti were deeply loved by their senior humans, but when their mom moved into a retirement home and their dad could no longer care for them, they turned to a caring neighbour for help and she knew just who to call — My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Melanie, to find Ben and Marti a second forever home in Barrie, Ontario. These boys were the very best of friends and loved to cuddle together, also known as the double cuddle, so it was important that they found a home together.

After interviewing the first few applicants, the neighbour and senior chose Blake and Nicole to be their second forever family. Within a few weeks, the boys were completely settled in. As their new humans work from home, they have become big fans of zoom calls, entertaining their humans’ co-workers. When they are not busy at work, they love to do their favourite activity, the double cuddle. Whether it’s on their humans lap or in their kitty bed, they are happiest when they are curled up together.
