Milo
When his 92-year-old human moved into a retirement community, her room was simply too tiny to give him the space he needed. Her daughter wanted to adopt him, but she had a young dog who didn’t get along with cats. That’s when she decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.
She began working with our volunteer, Karima, to find Milo a second forever home in London, Ontario. While she was prepared to interview many applicants until the right family came along, it turned out she only had to interview the first applicant, Michael.
The daughter loved Michael’s love and commitment to his animals and decided to do a meet and greet. As soon as she met him, she knew Milo was meant to be with him.
Milo moved into this second forever home and fell in love with his new family, and his sister, Roux. They like to spend their days taking naps, looking out the window and spending time with their dad.
