carrie and lucifer

When a senior lady passed away, she left behind her two beloved cats, Carrie and Lucifer. Her daughter knew how important these cats were to her mom, so she was determined to find them a loving second forever home.

She began working with our volunteer, Vivian, to find Carrie and Lucifer a second forever home in Nova Scotia. After interviewing a few applicants, they chose a lady to adopt them.

A few months passed, the lady reached out with a heavy heart to say that she had unexpected changes in her life and although she had fallen in love with Carrie and Lucifer, she couldn’t keep them.

They temporarily moved in with a family foster, and we urgently searched for their new second forever. Applications began to roll in. The daughter interviewed each one and chose Trevor to be their family. Carrie and Lucifer moved in with Trevor and settled in immediately. They curled up and knew that they were finally home.
