dusty and smokey

When a lady in Toronto suddenly passed away, she left behind her cats, Dusty and Smokey. While her daughters struggled with the grief and heartbreak of the sudden loss of their mom, they were still determined to find a home for her beloved cats. So, they decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Lish, to find Dusty and Smokey a second forever home. Despite their grief, they worked with Lish as she interviewed applicants. Within just a couple weeks, they chose Laura and Jay to be their second forever family.

Dusty and Smokey settled in, giving the family comfort of knowing they are once again loved during a heartbreaking time.
