fundy’s story

When a senior needed to move for additional care, she was unable to bring her beloved cat, Fundy, with her. Since she didn’t get along with other animals, there was no one in the family able to provide her with the home she needed. That’s when the daughter-in-law contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Vivian, to find Fundy a second forever home in Nova Scotia. Named after the iconic Bay of Fundy because of her coloured fur, Fundy instantly stole the hearts of our community and applications began to roll in.

After interviewing many families, they chose Claire to be her second forever family. Fundy settled in nicely and they are already on their way to being the best of friends.
