ginny and molly

When their senior human was accepted into a care home, Ginny and Molly needed to find a second forever home. With just two weeks notice, the family was worried about finding someone who would cherish them the same way their human did. That’s when her son contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

He began working with our volunteer, Kate, to find a second forever home for Ginny and Molly in Waterloo, Ontario. Families began to apply almost immediately, but it was Leslie who stood out to the family. She had lost her beloved senior cats a couple years ago and was ready to open her heart and home to these two senior ladies.

Just two weeks later, Ginny, Molly and their human all moved into their new living situations. The senior and her family now have the comfort of knowing Ginny and Molly are loved and cherished once again.

”I couldn’t be happier with Ginny and Molly! I didn’t realize how empty my home had been. As a senior myself, getting a kitten didn’t seem like an option. So very happy to have these girls in my life now.” — Leslie, Ginny and Molly’s mom
