honey and bella’s story

When their senior human was hospitalized and had to move into a retirement home, her daughter was lost with what to do with her beloved cats, Honey and Bella. The two cats were bonded and located in the rural community of Digby, Nova Scotia. That’s when she contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Allie, to write their profile and send it out to the MGC community. Just one day after their profile was posted, three kind families applied to be their second forever home. Allie worked quickly to vet the applicants, and their humans daughter chose a lovely women named Patti who came to pick them up the next day. The two settled in quickly and became an instant family.
