romeo’s story

When his senior human began receiving cancer treatments, she found herself unable to care for her beloved cat, Romeo. She worried that he wouldn’t get adopted because he can be spicy before he gets to know you. That’s when her granddaughter suggested she contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Vivian, to write Romeo’s profile and send it out to the community. While she was still nervous, Vivian put her at ease that there are families out there who will be patient and give him the time he needs to warm up to them. After vetting a few applicants, she chose Sarah to be his second forever home. Now, she can focus on her health knowing Romeo is with someone who loves him just as much as she does.
