Lucy and Sassy were loved by their senior human until the day she passed away. When they were in need of a second forever home, her daughter took them in temporarily and contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

She began working with our volunteer, Alex, to find this duo a second forever home in Abbotsford, British Columbia. That’s when she received an email from a lovely couple named Wendy and Steven who were interested. Alex and the daughter interviewed them, and realized they were the perfect fit.

Three weeks later, Lucy and Sassy had fully settled into their second forever home. They like to spend their days taking naps in the sunshine on the upper deck, spending time with their humans and making sure their humans receive an efficient amount of purrs and head butts every day.
