When their senior human passed away, Milky and Mo were cared for by her brother and elderly mother. When the time came for them to move into a care home, these senior brothers were in need of a home. That’s when the family decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Kinsey, to find a second forever home in Kitchener, Ontario. While everyone assumed it would take a while to receive applications, families began to apply almost immediately. Kinsey interviewed each kind family willing to adopt the brothers together, but one couple stood out — Kevin and Blaine.

After meeting with the couple, the family knew the brothers were meant to be with them. It took a couple weeks for them to adjust, but once they did, they fell completely in love with their dads, just as their dads did with them.
