tommy

When senior lady was no longer able to care for her cat, Tommy, her granddaughter knew he was in need of a second forever home. After talking with her grandmother, they decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Vivian, to find Tommy a second forever home in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. When his profile went out to our community, the applications began to roll in. While many kind families applied, the senior chose Michael to give Tommy a second forever home.

Michael had been committed to adopting through My Grandfather’s Cat since he first heard of us. After applying for multiple adoptables, we were thrilled when he was chosen. While Tommy was a little timid at first, he learned to trust Michael and they are now the best of friends.

”He now knows the routine of bedtime, where he’ll get under the covers for lots of petting. After getting his nightly petting, he roams the house for treats, and typically sleeps in my spot on the couch.”
