One day, a senior lady was sitting in her home when a sweet fluffy cat walked into her life. She quickly realized the cat was adopting her, so she decided to name her Muffy and the two spent the next two years as the very best of friends.

Ten years later, when the senior began to lose her sight and needed care. She decided to move in with her son and daughter-in-law, but due to her sons allergies, she wasn’t able to bring her beloved cat Muffy with her. That’s when the family decided to contact My Grandfather’s Cat to find Muffy a second forever home.

They began working with volunteer, Claire, to write Muffy’s profile and send it out to the MGC community. This beautiful, fluffy girl was irresistible to our community and the applications began to come in. After interviewing families together, they chose a lovely family who Muffy quickly adopted once again.
