Tallulah spent the first nine years of her life being unconditionally loved by a senior human. They lived in his home together and were the very best of friends until he was hospitalized at the age of 103. When his family learned he wouldn’t be able to come home, they knew they had to find the best home for his beloved cat. That’s when they contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.

They began working with our volunteer, Kinsey, to write her profile and send it to our community. Tallulah, who lovingly went by Toodles, was accustomed to a life of love, snuggles and tuna. The family wanted to make sure her second forever family could love her just as much as her human did.

A couple interested adoptees applied immediately, and after being interviewed by the family, they realized Stephanie had a deep love for animals and would give Toodles the life she was accustomed to. She settled in nicely and Stephanie plans to love and spoil her for the rest of her life.
